RadiXplore selected for BHP Xplor’s 2026 accelerator program

PERTH, Australia — 2 February 2026

RadiXplore today announced it has been selected to join the 2026 BHP Xplor accelerator program as a technology participant. This year’s cohort includes an expanded group of technology companies developing tools designed to improve the speed, precision, and effectiveness of early-stage mineral exploration.

As part of the program, RadiXplore will receive US$500,000 in equity-free funding and gain access to BHP’s technical specialists for structured guidance. The collaboration will focus on advancing RadiXplore’s proprietary Proactive Opportunity Engine, validating its application in a live exploration context with a specific focus on high-value copper discovery in priority mineral belts.

RadiXplore is a strategic intelligence platform designed to transform how the mining industry discovers assets by synthesizing live corporate intelligence with unstructured historical geological archives.

Advancing proactive discovery

The Opportunity Engine is designed to support improvements in early-stage exploration by moving from reactive searching to proactive targeting. By reconstructing the history of past exploration programs, the platform identifies near-miss opportunities and previously overlooked signals embedded in decades of historical data.

Working directly with BHP through the Xplor program will enable RadiXplore to refine, test, and advance this workflow using world-class datasets and real exploration challenges.

Leadership perspectives

Russell Menezes, Co-Founder and CEO of RadiXplore, said:

“Being selected for Xplor is a major milestone for RadiXplore and a strong validation of our approach to predictive mineral discovery. We believe the next generation of high-value copper deposits will be found not just by generating new data, but by intelligently synthesizing the billions of dollars of ‘dark data’ the industry already possesses.

Our solution is designed to support improvements in early-stage exploration by moving from reactive search to proactive targeting — using AI to reconstruct the history of past exploration and identify near-miss opportunities. The opportunity to work directly with BHP’s exploration and technology teams allows us to validate our workflow on world-class datasets and accelerate our mission to build the intelligence layer for the critical minerals economy.”

Tim O’Connor, BHP Group Exploration Officer, said:

“Technology plays an increasingly important role in shaping the future of exploration, and companies like RadiXplore bring capabilities that can influence how early-stage concepts are assessed. Their approach to synthesizing diverse intelligence streams for target generation is well considered and has the potential to support improved precision, reduce cycle times, and provide access to new search spaces. Through Xplor, we aim to support the development of tools with practical application in the field. We look forward to working with RadiXplore as they progress through the program.”

Marley Palin, Head of BHP Xplor, said:

“One of the most notable elements of the 2026 cohort is the strength of the technology companies selected, and RadiXplore was a standout of the applicants. Their solution addresses a clear challenge in the early stages of exploration — managing and leveraging vast amounts of historical and corporate data — and is designed to support improved testing and decision-making.

The Xplor program provides a structured environment for innovators to refine their products alongside real exploration work, gather relevant feedback, and strengthen their development pathways. We are pleased to welcome RadiXplore to the program as part of our expanded technology cohort.”
